Two more bridges were completed and the first third of Chapter VI's outline is finished. On the audiobook front, there's only two more chapters to record. We also posted this month's blog which details the trials (no tribulations) of the second novel bloat.

The outlines for Chapter V and two of the three bridges are done. We also recorded the audio for the first Imar chapter for Prelude to the Storm. The 2nd part of the Vansernic update was posted in Auren Archives, as well.

It looks like we're expanding Storm Clouds Gather to 18 core chapters instead of 15, but I'm wrapping up chapter V this week. We also finished recording the Garith chapters for Prelude to the Storm's audiobook, so we're about 2/3 of the way there. All that's left are the 5 Imar chapters.

Two bridges were completed and Chapter V is about halfway finished. The first of a 3-part series introducing readers to the Vansernic through the eyes of some natives of Auren was also posted in the archives. Finally, I created a new section on the website for all the lovely reviews that the kind folks at Readers' Favorite have granted me, as well as a link so readers can see what other readers are saying on Amazon.

I completely reworked the bridges between chapters to make more room for an emerging character. Didn't want him to feel rushed in his big debut. I also finished two more bridges and the outline of the main antagonist who will challenge all three main heroes as they meet together for the first time.

The Chapter IV outline and two of the three bridges following it were completed. The Auren calendar was also finished last week and we're working on the "reshoots" for the Kitoor chapters on the audiobook.

Putting the finishing touches on the outline to Chapter IV this week, and we've been working like crazy people on the audiobook now that we've got everything set up properly. All Kitoor chapters have now been recorded, with reworks set for this week.

The next-to-last installment of the Auren calendar is finished and may feature the best month yet. I made some real progress on some technical issues regarding the nonhuman races and social interactions between them and the humans. You'll understand how important (and complicated) it is when Storm Clouds Gather is released next year.

The last two weeks have been very time-centric. I've had to adjust the first three chapters' blueprints to align everything correctly--in essence, Kitoor and Garith need to catch up with Imar. Chapters 2 and 3 of Storm Clouds Gather take place prior to the Battle of the Vale in Baria, so I wanted to make sure everyone had their sequences properly aligned. I also put out a new blog that features one artistic interpretation of all three main characters together. It isn't canon, but it's visually fun.

The first half of the Auren calendar year is finished and I think it looks really good. Check it out in the Auren Archives! Hoping to put together one long "tapestry" for the year at some point so each month will flow into the next one more organically. Re-recorded the first chapter for the Audiobook with the new sound baffles and everything sounds great. A new blog is coming out on the 1st of June, along with a more consistent newsletter schedule, which will go out on the first of every month. Oh, and mapped out 2 full chapters and 4 "bridges" (see the Blog for more on this) for Storm Clouds Gather.

Finished mapping out The Storm Cycle. Looks like to tell the complete story, there's going to have to be another novel added to the series. Have a working title created that I'll sit on for a bit more to make sure I like it. Began the detailed outline of Storm Clouds Gather with the chapter beats and the end of the novel in place. Will begin the detailed chapter breakdowns next. New blog posted on the 4th of this month. Still working out technical issues with the audiobook.

The test chapter for ACX was completed, but we're working out some technical challenges to make sure the sound quality will be consistent throughout the series. Continuing to map out the details of The Storm Cycle with Storm Clouds Gather ready to go. The first two months of Auren's calendar are also live with the next 2-4 looking good for May 17th.

The e-book and paperback went live on March 30th! We have an official cover for the audiobook, the engineer is on board, and we'll be recording our first chapter this week as a test for the fine folks at ACX. Began mapping out the details for the next five books in the current Storm Cycle.

Everything is locked for the e-book and the paperback to go on sale on March 30th. Got the proof on the 19th and everything looks great! Created Google Ad and Amazon Ad campaigns, as I'm an author no one's heard of. Finalizing the details with the sound engineer now for the Audiobook.

The website went live today, including a contact page, information on the book, the first three chapters (for free), and even a blog. Looking like a late March publication date might be in the cards.
